Following a frustrating week of Golf course closures the rain finally relented in time for the Santa Scramble to take place on Saturday 16th December.

Fuelled by a Breakfast roll and coffee, 108 players made their way to starting Tees for an 8-20 shotgun start. Although the course was damp in places only 2 temporary holes confronted the field.

The Scramble was closely contested with 11 teams scoring 56 points or less.

The winners were:-

1st place  with 52 points the team of:- L Machin, F Mullally, S Taylor & T Murray

2nd place with 54 points the team of :- D Downes, H Downes, I Sallow & T Brittian

3rd Place with a score of 54 points:- P Stanford, Mat Parry, Linda Houston & Jude Mcmanus

The best Gross score went to the team of :_J Jeff Johnston, T Blizzard, A Blizzard & S Whitworth with a score of 59 shots.
