The Terry Matthews Salver, a mixed pairs better ball Stableford was contested today, 1 June 2023.
This was a match of 2 halves weather-wise, with the front 9 holes being played in overcast, cold and windy conditions, and the back 9 finishing in glorious sunshine.
A select contingent of 16 players was involved in carding scores ranging from 29 points to the winners finishing on 46 points (full listing attached).
The 1st and 2nd placings were a repeat of the outcome of the 2022 competition.
1st place was won by Caroline and Richard Fox successfully defending their title (46 points and pictured).
In 2nd place were Sharon Easton-Pollock and Alasdair Pollock, on 41 points.
A big thank you goes to the grounds staff for their efforts in preparing the course in such great shape.
Also, a thank you also goes to the competition coordinators Gary McCartney and Gerry Moxon.
