SLIDESLOW CUP – 28TH SEPTEMBER 2025
The final of the Slideslow Cup took place on Sunday 28th September 2025.
The format of the competition was an Individual Match Play knockout competition for Men, involving 5 rounds contested by 31 players, with Scott Harris (pictured on the left) and Andrew Lawrence (Right) eventually reaching the final.
Although play started in cooler slightly overcast weather conditions as play progressed the Sun made an appearance and overall made for ideal golfing conditions.
Our thanks go to the ground staff for their efforts in maintaining the course to such a high standard.
Scott was giving Andrew 4 shots on the day. The first hole was halved, then Andrew took the next 3 holes and the 6th hole with the rest of the front 9 all halved, so at the turn he was 4 up. Andrew then took holes 10 and 11 with Scott winning hole 12. Holes 13 was also halved and by halving hole 14 Andrew won the match 5 and 4.
