Morris Bowl Final (26/09/2025)

BGC hosted the Morris Bowl final on Friday 26th September between two match play titans, Milan Pejovic and James Pearson.

Milan gave James 5 shots over the 18 holes, as they played in cool but calm September weather.

James took an early lead going 5 up after 6 holes, as Milan found it difficult to find his ‘A’ game against a superb start from James.

After 9 holes James maintained his 5 hole lead, sinking an amazing 20 foot putt on the 9th green to half the hole, for par.

The next 3 holes (10, 11 &12) James won, ultimately shake hands on the 12th green.

I hardly had any time to eat my sandwiches when the match concluded!

Congratulations to James for a stunning round of golf, and playing the game in the right spirit.

He has secured his covetted place at presentation evening on Saturday 15th November.
