A PERFECT DAY!
Thursday 25th May was our Ladies Open Am Am competition at Bromsgrove, we had a total of 21 teams taking part.
We would like the congratulate the following winners:
1st Place Rose Hill Golf Club with 84 points:

2nd Place Stourbridge Golf Club with 81 points:
Julie Sadler, Claire Kenny, Jill Smith, Sandra Corbett
3rd Place Ombersley Golf Club with 77 points:
Maria Skyrme, Karen Biagojevic, Jo Whittall, Heather Twaite
4th Place Bromsgrove Golf Club with 72 points (better back nine)

It was a perfect day, with beautiful weather and the course looked amazing, a big thank you to the greens staff who started maintenance at 4am!!
We have received so many messages of thanks and compliments from the ladies, not only for the quality and challenge of the course itself but also for the professional way the day was organised, and the warm welcome they received at Bromsgrove.
The ladies particularly enjoyed being announced on the 1st Tee by our Club Chairman, John Kelly, the hospitality gazebo on the 10th tee and the wonderfully refurbished restaurant and gardens.
Midlands Golf (Bromsgrove) offered a very good sale so many of the ladies enjoyed some retail therapy!
A big thanks also goes to our catering staff for the excellent food and service they delivered.
Several of the clubs are organising their Ladies Away Day at Bromsgrove, which makes us very proud of our club.
We would like to thank all the ladies who took part, helping to make the day the success it was.
We look forward to welcoming you back next year, but hopefully, in the meantime, you will be able to join us in celebrating our 30th anniversary with our ‘Festival of Golf’ commencing on Sunday 13th August, online entries are now available on Golf Empire.
