| The Captains Shield took place on Saturday 11th July, the format was a medal competition with a fun element twist, where players had to choose 3 clubs and a putter. The course was in superb condition getting ready for the Men’s club championships next weekend. The weather played ball, being bright and dry with a slight breeze most of the day. |
| Today’s event was attended by 67 players.
Green staff had the course in perfect condition, it was looking superb credit to BGC. |
| The Men’s competition was won by Alex Lane with a very impressive net 63. Janice Harris won the Ladies’ competition with a net 68. |
