The Course was in fabulous condition with the sun shining for the 2024 Captains’ Day
24 teams of 4 played in a Progressive Bowmaker competition, format Stableford with 1st 6 holes, 2 scores to count, 2nd 6 holes, 3 scores to count and last 6 holes, 4 scores to count.
We had plenty of positive feedback to say how much players enjoyed the format, even if they were tired when all 4 scores needed to count.
The mobile bar on the 10th hole, halfway house, was well received along with the Prosecco for the Ladies and snacks for all.
Thanks to our friends at Carlsberg for supplying us with the Poretti Bar it looks like it’s going to be a popular acquisition.
