On Friday 30th June Rich and I held our Captains’ Away Day at Ludlow Golf Club. Although the weather was a little wet at times all 44 players had a fantastic day.
The Chef at Ludlow prepared a delicious big pan of Balti chicken, rice, and naan followed by apple crumble and custard. Throughout the day we were very well looked after by the General Manager, Russell Price, and all the staff at Ludlow Golf Club.
Mulligans and a raffle raised extra money towards the team prizes on the day and £500 for this year’s Captains’ Charities (Primrose Hospice and MND).
As there were so many past Captains present, we had a group photo taken, there were 18 of us in total including this year’s Captains and Vice Captains. (See cover shot)
