On Monday 1st July David James and I held our Captains’ Away Day at Brickhampton Court Golf Club. The weather held fair and all 44 players had a fantastic day.
The Chef prepared delicious English breakfasts and bacon baps before the golf and after the round, we all enjoyed a delicious roast pork with all the trimmings followed by berry pavlova. Throughout the day we were very well looked after by the Events Manager, Jo Browne and all the Brickhampton Court Golf Club staff.
Mulligans and a raffle raised extra money towards the team prizes on the day and this year’s Captains’ charities MS society UK and Crohns and Colitis UK
As there were so many past Captains present, we had a group photo taken, there were 15 of us in total including this year’s Captains and Vice Captains.
